Bluffton: The Nature Conservancy’s Ashley River Preserve State Park offers scenic views with an interpretive hiking trail and fishing pier on one side and acres of untouched wetlands on the other. It’s also just across the street from another nature preserve called the Rocky Bluff Wildlife Management Area where visitors can explore more than 22 miles of trails through diverse habitats like pine forests, creek bottoms, longleaf pine stands and sandhill scrublands along Georgia’s coast.
