this is an incredibly good question, one that I get asked a lot. I can’t tell you how many times I have been asked this question during my morning commute. The answer is: probably not.
The truth of the matter is that fish do not like to be pet. In fact, scientists recently discovered that when a fish is in a state of stress, it will actually be more likely to eat other fish if it has been fed a special treat. The reason for this is that fish (and all other animals) are really good at picking up on each other’s moods, and will be drawn to a fish with an angry or upset look.
But in reality, fish aren’t that big on being pet. It has long been known that fish are very smart and can easily understand the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of others. They’ve been proven to read each other’s minds too. So, when they see a fish with a sad look, they’ll probably take a closer look. But the one thing they won’t do is pet themselves.
A lot of people think that dogs are like cats in that they can’t relate to fish, but in reality, dogs are more like cats in that they are also very smart and can easily understand the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of others. But they don’t like the pets that have a mean face and are angry. The ones that look sad are usually the ones that arent getting along with their owners and are causing a lot of problems.
