So we went with a car that has over 100K miles and is on the right side of the law. So we’re looking for a car that has an average of 12K miles a year, and is under 30 years old.

And the cheapest car is something that needs a lot of maintenance but that is relatively cheap to maintain. So we wanted a car that had a big amount of gas, was affordable, and was in a good location for family and friends.
