Hello friends! I am Kari, and this is my blog. In this blog post, I’m going to talk about some of the places where you can find me in real life. There are a lot of different spots that you can go to see me, so it’s hard for me to keep track of them all! From time-to-time, I will write up a list with my current hitlist locations just so that people know where they might be able to find me on any given day.
For this list, I wanted to share with you some of the places that I am currently hitting up. Some are old haunts that have been around for a while and others might be new spots where people can find me out and about. Keep your eyes peeled because there is always a chance that I will pop into any one of these locations without warning.
The coffee shop on the corner of my block where I can always guarantee a good cup of joe and some time to read in peace.
The bookstore that sells all sorts of old books next door is also another favorite spot for me because you never know who might pop up when you’re browsing through their selection. Last time, it was an author signing her book! Who knows what will happen this time?
There’s also been quite a few times that I’ve wandered into the library just to check out the sheer number of books they have there – so many options! And if i’m feeling ambitious, then I’ll take one home with me too (and not return it). You never know when you’ll have some time but not the right book to fill it.
There’s also been a couple of times that I’ve bumped into my old school friends at one of these places and talked about everything from what we were up to now, what crazy shenanigans they had gotten themselves into while i was away or just catching up on where life has taken us so far (in their case – kids! in mine? well let’s just say there are lots).

December 23rd 2019: Santa Barbara County Fire
Updates:
The Santa Barbara County Fire has been contained but not extinguished. Kari is keeping her fingers crossed that the fire will be put out by this week! Sources have stated that there are still over 2000 acres left to burn in Ventura County, which means it could take another three weeks before the fire is entirely under control. We would like to thank all of our loyal followers for their prayers and concern during these difficult times with our community members who have lost so much already. This holiday season we want you to always remember what’s really important – your loved ones! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
