The last time I was up in my office, I couldn’t believe how much my phone screen was eating up my desk. It was so cluttered, I couldn’t find the backlit buttons! I have been reading a lot of articles about new monitor technology these days, and the only one I can think of that actually compares is a new one from Apple. The problem is that the Apple monitor is so big and expensive that I am seriously considering going with the new Samsung monitor instead.

The problem with monitors is that they are often overpriced and oversold. Yes, many monitors have excellent features, but they are also relatively expensive. If you want a great monitor for your desk, you should do what I am recommending and save up some money. I know people who have had to get a second monitor and a second monitor that is much cheaper than the first monitor. Their second monitor works perfect and they are able to use it for everything.
Some people still love their first monitor and don’t want to go back to the expensive monitor. But I do too. If you really want to save money, buy an external monitor that is cheaper than a notebook. But I won’t hold my breath. My first external monitor cost me $100.

For many offices, you can get two monitors that are much cheaper than a notebook. Some laptops can have four monitors.
