Praia do Rosa is a small fishing village located on the coast of northeastern Brazil. The name means “Red Beach” in Portuguese, and the sand really does appear to be red when viewed from above. As you can imagine, this beach is popular with tourists who are looking for an unspoiled paradise that they can explore without being hassled by vendors or other commercial activity.
The cool thing about Praia do Rosa is that it feels like no time has passed since the last century when everyone lived off the land and fished as their primary source of food. It’s not uncommon to see locals harvesting clams or oysters nearby while you enjoy your picnic lunch on a bright green grassy knoll.
The village’s population is still quite small, but it has been steadily growing as more people are attracted to the area for its natural beauty and laid-back lifestyle.
Praia do Rosa has a school that educates children there about how to live in harmony with nature while also teaching them academic subjects like math and Spanish. The kids enjoy surfing, playing soccer or just relaxing on the beach when they get home from their classes each day. There is no lack of adventure here!
Most locals have never seen snow before because this part of Brazil rarely experiences cold weather; so if you visit during winter months (November through March), be sure to pack some warm clothes along with your swimwear since temperatures may be chilly.

A Ranch – Praia do Rosa
A ranch is a type or style of house that was commonly found on the American frontier. The word “ranch” comes from an abbreviation for “rancho,” which means any form of rural dwelling in Spanish language (such as one built along with livestock). It is also used to describe independent farms operating under cooperative ownership structures at the same time. These will be known as cooperatives ranches today within many countries including Australia and New Zealand for example. In other English
speaking countries there is a time when the word “ranch” was used in association with cattle breeds such as Hereford, Shorthorn and Angus.
