The dragon convention was a disaster for me. I didn’t know anything about dragons and it turns out that that is something you should do before attending the event. People were running around, screaming in terror and fires were burning everywhere! It was complete chaos, but also fascinating to see how people act when they are being chased by dragons. It was a really long day, but I am glad it never turned into night.
I do not recommend attending a dragon convention unless you know what to expect. I did have the chance to meet some really cool people, but they are too busy fighting dragons and saving their own lives to chat with me now. This is all I can remember from that whole week, which also included lots of other things where I managed not to die and met a lot of nice people too. There are still some events coming up later in 2019 as well for those interested that might be worth checking out; it’s only a few months away at most.

More dragons came from the north and attacked the convention. Some people were killed in the fight before they could escape, but many others managed to make it out alive by running away as fast as possible! The survivors are all lucky that they made a break for it when they did; I do not know what would have happened if we had been there much longer. It seems this was just too hard of an event to go through without any warning beforehand – or at least with more security so these things don’t happen again next year.

In conclusion, if you do not like chaos and want to have a good time at an event – stay away from this one. It is just not worth the hassle or risk of being killed by dragons when all I wanted was some fun after school!
